I am driven by a passion to understand the ways that human beings interact with one another and the world around them, both physically and energetically. The flow of our energy is profoundly affected by the spaces we inhabit, by their shape, color and texture.
Nothing is more important to me than listening to my clients, understanding the rooms they want to transform and helping them to articulate and realize their vision.
The success of a project also depends on professional Project Management, understanding how to organize and sequence a Project, how to communicate honestly and clearly with clients, establishing realistic expectations and holding to appropriate deadlines.
As a senior professional I have developed this perspective and skills over a lifetime of Designing and Building Furniture, Cabinetry and Architectural Woodwork.
I was the Founding Principal of Interior Dimensions, LLC. an Award Winning Company, Designing and Building Premium Architectural Woodwork from 1990 to 2010, providing a full range of services from Design through Installation, focusing on high end residential work.
Our work has been published multiple times in New England Home, Arts and Crafts, Boston Magazine Home Design and Boston Globe Magazine. We were awarded First Place in the Luxury Living Awards for Contemporary Kitchen and also First Place for Contemporary Bathroom.
As a young man I designed and built tables and beds sold wholesale through furniture stores in Boston and Cambridge.
I have also worked as a Special Education Teacher in both private and public schools, including Charles River Academy in Cambridge and Weston High School in Weston, MA. I have taught woodworking through the Cambridge Center for Adult Education and was Certified in Massachusetts as a Vocational Education Teacher.
